Sales Development Rep

This unique opportunity at Kamsa will report to the Director of Sales & Customer Success and support our clients with paying employees fairly, globally!


Location: Remote Opportunity

Kamsa (/kahm-sah/) is a tech start-up dedicated to helping companies make compensation painless. We are searching for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will cultivate and bring in outbound leads and then help turn them into clients. They research and reach out to potential clients who might be interested in an all-in-one compensation solution to manage employee compensation. Kamsa is changing the compensation industry. Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new leads (e.g., via outbound emails, social outreach) and bring in qualified leads for Account Executives to demo 
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients, including communicating cross functionally (e.g., operations, product, marketing), as needed, to assist close deals 
  • Identify client’s compensation needs and goals and align them with Kamsa’s solutions and offerings
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule prospect calls, meetings and demos
  • Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, from the web and other sources, and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained into HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to efficiently and effectively close deals
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge about Kamsa and how it resolves companies pain points  
  • Achieve or exceed monthly qualified lead goals that turn into demo meetings and signed agreements

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent industry expertise
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, ideally within the tech industry
  • Track record of consistent high sales quota or goals achievement 
  • Strong executive presence and demo presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a quickly growing environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with MacBooks and Google Workspace (Suite)
  • Work experience within startups, enterprise SaaS industry is strongly preferred
